American State Bank & Trust Company has had some exciting staff changes this summer! In our Ag Lending Department, Aaron Granley was named Agricultural Loan Manager. He is also a Vice President and has more than 10 years experience as an ag lender and has been with ASB&T since 2013. He brings a life-long background in farming and ranching which makes him an excellent resource for our ag customers.
ASB&T also recently welcomed Mike Alderman as an Agriculture Loan Officer. Mike grew up in a farming and ranching family in Idaho and has 12 years of ag and commercial lending experience and is well versed in farming operations and ranching operations. Welcome, Mike!
Rounding out the team of Ag professionals are Ag Loan Officer Bob Rude, who recently celebrated his 30th year with ASB&T, and Jake Brokaw, Assistant Ag Loan officer has been with ASB&T since 2018.
In the Commercial Lending Department, Assistant Vice President Taylor Grundstad was named Commercial Loan Department Manager. Taylor has experience in many areas of ASB&T when he started as a college intern working summers. Upon college graduation in 2012, he became full time with the bank. He has a great relationship with his business customers and welcomes new ideas and business interests.
Taylor was born and raised in Williston and loves to watch his community grow and prosper. It’s important to him to deliver a high level of customer service and give personal attention to our customers. He believes creating a partnership between the bank and its customers is what helps customers reach their goals.
Zach Nelson, also an Assistant Vice President in the Commercial Loan Department was recently named Assistant Commercial Loan Manager. Zach also worked at ASB&T throughout our college and after graduating college in 2012, started his professional career with the bank.
As a Commercial Loan Officer, he was awarded the Small Business Development Center Lender of the Year award in 2018. He is part of the Williston Area Economic Diversification Group.
Zach works to keep our business community thriving through his commitment to ASB&T and to the business clients he works with.
Both Taylor and Zach are graduates of the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Williston Program. In their free time, you might find Taylor on the golf course and Zach helping out on his family’s 5th generation family farm.
