| Throughout the years, American State Bank and Trust Company has been a leader in community development projects. The success of these projects make our region a better place to live and raise our families. American State Bank and its employees support the Williston Community and surrounding areas through their generous donations of time, talents and financial resources. Williston Public School District #1 Innovation Academy The Board of Directors of American State Bank & Trust Company of Williston recently approved an anchor donation of $500,000 to the Williston Public School District #1 Innovation Academy. The anchor donation from ASB&T, combined with many other community, business and energy industry sponsors and a major grant from Williams County, has made it possible to begin remodeling the former indoor pool facility into a dedicated learning space for approximately 400 fifth through eighth grade students. United Way Throughout the years American State Bank & Trust Company has been a strong supporter of the United Way Campaign with 100% employee participation. The employee’s donations along with matching funds from the bank contribute over 10% of the total annual budget for the local United Way. Meals on Wheels Since 2012, staff from American State Bank & Trust Company have been delivering Meals On Wheels weekly. This wonderful program, through the Williston Senior Center, allows the bank to reach out to community members by taking on a weekly route to deliver a daily meal to those associated with the Meals On Wheels program. The bank takes a specific route on a specific day every week. It’s an easy way for ASB&T to support this great program, as well as to help out those in need of a little extra help! |
