American State Bank & Trust Company Trust Department Manager Jeramy Hansen recently announced the promotion of Rebekka (Bekka) Johnson to Trust Officer from Employee Benefits & Trust Operations Officer. In her new role, she will work with clients to open trust accounts and agency and IRA accounts. She will also handle life insurance trusts.
Bekka has been with ASB&T for more than 11 years and has been a member of the Trust Department team for the past 10 years.
“Bekka’s strong customer service skills will be a great asset as she assists retirement plan participants, local business owners, and IRA clients in her new role,” said ASB&T President/CEO Dave Hanson.
A Williston native, Bekka attended Williston State College and is a graduate of the Williston Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Williston program. She is a volunteer for Bank and community activities, including Meals on Wheels, captain of ASB&Ts Relay For Life team and the organizer of “Pitching for the Paws” charity co-ed softball tournament. She and her husband, Jerami, have two children.
