It has come to our attention that scammers are circulating fraudulent cashier’s checks drawn on American State Bank & Trust Company. Please exercise caution if you receive what appears to be a cashier’s check drawn on our Bank as it may be associated with a scam!
Contact the ASBT Electronic Banking Department at 701-774-4140 if you have questions about an ASBT cashier’s check you have received. If you think you’ve been targeted by a counterfeit check scam, report it to your local law enforcement, the Federal Trade Commission, the US Postal Inspection Service and your state or local consumer protection agencies.
